Alimony or spousal support is not a matter of right in Arkansas alimony law,
but the court considers factors like the challenged earning capacities of the spouse to support their good living to award it.
There are alimony guidelines of the Arkansas state laws, which explain the conditions of the award as well as to terminate the awarded alimony.
Termination of Alimony:
Alimony awards on a case-by-case basis by considering the length of the marriage,
but it can be terminated based on the following relevant reasons that include:
- The remarriage of the recipient
- A relationship of the recipient is considered equal to that of the marriage.
