The Code of Alabama 1975, Title 7 deals with commercial code that lays down the statutes for commercial transactions.

  • According to Alabama Breach of Contract laws, breach of contract refers to non-performance or specific act that causes impossibility of the performance of the promise.
  • Section 7-1-306 states that the aggrieved party will have the right to waiver or demand consideration in whole or in parts as a return for the damages suffered.
  • The complainant has to submit to the court a form detailing the facts of the case along with a copy of the contract that is the subject matter of the case.
  • Depending on the severity of the case, the court will order compensation or imprisonment up to 6 years.
