Arkansas code of conduct makes only written contracts enforceable by law.

  • Where either of the parties to a contract fails to perform the obligations as agreed, the aggrieved party has the right to seek legal remedy for damages that ensure.
  • Remedy can be sought in the form of claim for damages, specific performance, rescinding the contract, etc.
  • A violated contract becomes void and the aggrieved party is not required to perform his promises further until court verdict.
  • However, the breach of contract provisions will not be applicable in cases where the contract is of illegal essence or is citied as illegal by the court.
