DUI /DWI means driving under the influence of drugs or driving while intoxicated with alcohol that can cause impairment of the individual’s physical and mental abilities.
This can be detected by a chemical test, namely the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) and exceeding the relative allowed limits, which is 0.08 in terms of adult and 0.02 to 0.05 for a driver under 21 years, which can cause some severe consequences.
These generally include:
- The cancellation of the driver’s license.
- A stipulated period of imprisonment.
- Also, if an individual is once convicted under Colorado DUI/DWI, it can have its impact through out the driving period of the individual.
