The Nebraska Uniform Commercial Code governs the breach of contract provisions applicable to contractual agreements.

  • All contracts have to be in written format and should be agreed upon by both the parties on a consensus.
  • The party who fails in performing his part of obligations under the contract is called defendant.


  • The aggrieved party who sustains loss from such non-performance is called plaintiff.
  • The Uniform Commercial Code mentions that the compensation for losses incurred should be paid in full or in part to make good the loss suffered by the plaintiff.
