The Oklahoma Child Support guidelines describe the application of the Incomes Share Model on the net income of the parents.

  • Section 120 of Title 43 of Oklahoma statutes deal with the provisions applicable to child custody.
  • Each parent’s percentage share of the combined gross income determines a parent’s liability towards child support payments.
  • The parent with a relatively higher income pays the support amount to the custodial parent.
  • The support amount will cover the primary health care, insurance, education and, recreational facilities of the child until s/he attains eighteen years of age or completes high school.
