The Oklahoma Child Support guidelines describe the application of Incomes Share Model on the net income of the parents.
- Section 120 of Title 43 of Oklahoma statutes deal with the provisions applicable to child custody.
- Each parent’s percentage share of the combined gross income determines parent’s liability towards child support payments.
- The parent with the relatively higher income pays the support amount to the custodial parent.
- The support amount will cover the primary health care, insurance, education and recreational facilities of the child until s/he attains eighteen years of age or completes high school.
