
It is to be noted that in order to file for a divorce in Kansas,
habitat requirements should be met for the legal part for the acceptance of the case.
- Respondent in an execution for divorce must have been an actual resident of the state for 2 months immediately prior filing the petition.
- Any person who has been resided at American post or federal reservation in the state of Kansas for 2 months immediately
prior filing the petition may document an action for separation in any state adjacent to the post.
- The petition for separation should declare the appropriate basis upon which the divorce is being observed.
