It is also termed as OUI/OWI in Iowa, which means Operating under the influence or while intoxicated and holds the same stringent laws.

  • In Iowa, an individual driving  vehicle can be subjected to a chemical detection test.
  • Refusing to test is an offense.
  • Breach of law where the BAC is found more than 0.08% can cause revocation and suspension of the license followed by imprisonment.
